Mary Frances A. DuMay

Mary Frances Anderson DuMay, a native Houstonian and residential real estate Broker Associate at Greenwood King Properties with 24 years of experience, specializes in Houston’s close-in neighborhoods—West University, River Oaks, and neighborhoods near the Texas Medical Center. Mary Frances is a trusted advocate with the highest integrity for her seller and buyer clients. She has a stellar reputation in the real estate community. “Mary Frances is a paragon real estate agent who is genuine and trustworthy. If you are looking to buy in the West U/Rice Village area of Houston, it will be difficult to find anyone better than Mary Frances. We were incredibly lucky to find her.” – Dr. Jonathan Rowland

Before selling real estate, Mary Frances was a sports broadcaster at an NBC affiliate TV station. She filmed, produced, reported on local sports, and anchored sportscasts at 6 pm and 10 pm nightly. At the time, Mary Frances was one of only two female sports directors in Texas.

Mary Frances proactively supports her neighborhood of West University Place, where she resides with her family. She is a long-time ‘Park Lover,’ sponsoring fundraising events for West U’s nine parks: Party on the Patio, Fathers and Flashlights, and the annual Park Lovers’ Ball – events organized by the Friends of West University Parks Fund, Inc., a 501c3 organization improving West U’s nine park pockets and green spaces.

Mary Frances and her family will be the presenting sponsors again for ‘Party on the Patio’ at West University’s Colonial Park & Pool. The summer of 2025 will mark the fifth consecutive year they have underwritten the live music at this fun neighborhood event, complimentary to all attendees. Pack a picnic meal, bring a blanket, and enjoy live local bands on the west lawn and terrace Friday evenings in June. There will be a few surprise giveaways again this summer!

Mary Frances donated a new oak tree at Colonial Park in 2021. The young oak tree symbolizes her family’s roots in West University Place and her professional growth as a trusted real estate Broker Associate at Greenwood King Properties. The sapling was planted on November 5th, 2021, coincidentally the same date as her oldest son’s 18th birthday. Her husband, three sons, clients, and their children, attended the dedication (complete with Tiny’s #5 chocolate chip cookies).

Mary Frances is married to David DuMay, and they have three sons: Clayton, Conner, and Patrick. The only girls in the family are “Lucky” [yellow Labrador] and “Penny,” [red-merle Australian Shepherd]. Mary Frances plays golf and tennis when the Houston weather cooperates. She also enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with family, friends, and neighbors.
