Spring Valley
The City of Spring Valley is a lovely wooded community adjacent to Buffalo Bayou. It is one of the six Memorial Villages incorporated in the 1950s.
Its historic roots are evident in its street names, many honoring the memory of prominent citizens. Bylaws require a minimum lot size of 10,000 square feet, allowing the natural beauty of shade trees and sculpted lawns to permeate the neighborhood. Older homes mixed with new, elegant custom homes creates an aesthetic charm.
Notable area schools, tree-filled public parks and protection provided by the Spring Valley Police Department create a cozy sense of community, drawing homeowners into the unique ambiance of this Memorial area enclave.
